Shit nobody cares about le reddit political compass

I'd ask you why you want humanity to go extinct but honestly I don't think it matters that much, finding reason and sense in the world as an atheist is hard enough, I'd get why you'd end up at that point.
And I guess you're right, although in my opinion theocracy isn't extreme, it's just coherent with my beliefs. But normatively speaking it is, yes.
Well you got it right, without God there is no purpose and life is meaningless, I just try to live a good life a life I would be proud of and I obviously can't kill myself because I'm hardwired that way
and I do get it that most people don't think that way

You'd love Albert Camus.

You'd love Albert Camus.
I do like existentialists (not Camus though, he is genuinely too reliant on religion and anecdotal evidence for me, I liked Sartre better)

I have some other novels of his (I think I have the fall and his non-fiction) stashed away in the attic

>Marx had a few ideas
Geg, he definitely had ideas alright, that's one thing we can't take away from him. He had ideas.
I have no idea why people hate Marx' ideas so much, what his ideas did for the workers is amazing, sadly amerifarts just decide to ignore anything that is red and you get amazon

His views on worker's rights are noble and some of the ideas regarding that could be implemented, no doubt about that.
He fucks up however on the perception of people and assuming that people are more willing to work with one another, than not, that people are better than they actually are, and doesn't acknowledge the naturally greedy, lazy, sleezy, and underhanded, agenda-based individuals of the world that would co-opt these universal principals for xer's own gain, practically every communist coupe turns into a dictatorship for this very reason.

Seems like you just hate bad people that abuse the system? That's pretty universal for everyone (part from people that abuse the system) and has nothing to do with his ideas, in theory if no one abused capitalism (or any kind of system) it would be a utopia. I'm just saying they are very useful and if implemented right benefit those honest and hard working
