Of-course, the game is very short and sweet but it's endlessly replayable due to the levels being large and full of routes, not too far from the zones from the original games. I'd recommend either playing the version in Sonic Gems Collection or playing the PC port with mods. Here's a modded version of the PC port for modern hardware from archive.org, it should work fine: https://archive.org/download/sonicr-livbs_202207/Windows/SonicR RIP (Sonic R Updater Patched).zip

Also @jimbo you won't be disappointed by the other music-tracks, you can enable and disable the vocals in the settings if they aren't to your liking.

thanks, i remember playing sonic r a long time ago but i didn’t play it much (probably because i’m a mario kart cuck) but i’ll definitely try it out again

Sonic R has the best soundtrack out of any of the Sonic games hands down, Richard Jacques and TJ Davis did an amazing job with everything. All 7 vocal tracks in the soundtrack sound like great 90s pop songs and I listen to all of them at least once per year and remember "damn this is good", makes me wonder why they spent such good tracks on SONIC R (I know Sonic R was made by Traveller's Tales and not Sonic Team which explains this but damn I wish they could've recaptured the magic).
