Sure, Froot had ultimate authority over the status of the Shlog this entire time, but this current situation is kind of like if, rather than just pulling a few strings behind the scenes, Benjamin Netanyahu paraded himself into the U.S Capitol Building tomorrow morning, ordered that the entire White House cabinet be banished to Greenland, and then had himself crowned Emperor-Rabbi of All America, if that's a decent analogy. Froot had full control that he never fully used, but now he's used it greatly.
