why do you think that north korea is unfairly treated
They're still ruled by a horrible regime, but the fact that their society is treated beyond fairness (being truth) internationally is simply factual, as Western media organizations make up a lot of stuff about their culture and way of life that's only based off of hearsay from publications like Radio Free Asia or from ridiculous defector tales like those of Yeonmi Park, and these minute absurdities are then gobbled up by ignorant folk and disseminated further. Park, for example, being one of the most well-known defectors, has claimed in the past that there is no ice cream in the DPRK, that world maps are not at-all provided to the DPRK's citizens, and that there are no words to convey personal romance in the North Korean dialect. All of these are untrue, of course.
This is not to say that the DPRK is a hidden, disparaged paradise, but the West likes to say that it's an utter hellhole in all conditions and all circumstances, which I haven't found to be true.
