A Panasonic Let's Note, it's a Japanese made laptop, and like Japan with technology, it's a laptop with a design stuck in the 2000s with modern components. The battery is swappable, some models have CD/DVD or BluRay drives, and a variety of ports. It's also very lightweight. The only downside to them (for me) are the speakers and the keyboard, there are available keyboards that you can swap with a US layout, but they are rare to find.

Of-course, I've been testing BSD and distros on it within reason and absolutely nothing has caused issue. When I tried Mint everything worked out of the box minus the fingerprint scanner but I'd argue it would be trivial to get working regardless. It can get quite toasty if you're watching 1080p content yet it handles web-browsing, office work and light gaming like a champ. The size is comfortable, the ports are plentiful and the screen is solid, no complaints from me.

laptops are gooder because they validated my gender or something

their only downside is the companies being selfish little fucks and not improving anything outside of making sure it makes them more money
which is why old thinkpads actually lasted due to them being able to actually make money off of corporate and whoever else while newer laptops keep getting raped because most of the time big people are just buying a ton of shitbooks constantly for their workers or something im trans btw or whatever latest ewaste there is

also real quick fuck microsoft for not doing ANYTHING with the deal they had with snapdragon so now im forever stuck with x86 raping my battery while macfags haven't charged their shit since last year
