What is the most soy thing you do/have done?

I archived 500GB of Sonic content out of boredom, commercials, manuals, leaked internal style-guides and art DVDs, you get the idea. I later corrupted the disk out of stupidity yet I've retained SatAM content as I merely cloned another persons Dropbox archive for my own. I wouldn't do it again, but it was a great time-killer.

Using Discord instead of XMPP before I was a tech-wizard.

In fairness, I was like 10 and mostly used it to troll or find people on video games, since I'm a late-zoomie and forums were basically dead by the time I got online, but still.

Discord wasn't such a troonfest back in the day atleast not the ones i was in
Though i did check on the Phantom Forces discord some year or two ago and they had like a pedo incident and it's moderator list is tranny galore so yeah it's so over
Pretty sure one of my freinds on der 'cord in the UK got groomed by a IRL guy in his life so idk what i was supposed to do there unfortunately, i stopped talking to him years ago

To be honest, I saw very few trannies on Discord until like 2023~ or so, despite having been in several larger servers. Maybe 1 or 2, but you would've had to go out of your way to find them. Even 2022 didn't have *that* many trannies, certainly not what it is now. I suspect COVID made normies take way less time to become terminally online than otherwise, which partially lead to a tranny infestation.

I do find it strange Discord managed to win, thinking about it now. It was objectively worse than the alternatives (Forums, IRC, Mumble, XMPP likely as well) if you were a tech-wizard, and it was only slightly """better""" than existing messaging platforms if you were a normie (Skype and TeamSpeak for example). 8MB file limit, which got lifted to 25MB, then down to 10MB, is annoying too.
