If you were a lord in that time, you would have access to whatever's available to you at that time but you'll have to deal with diseases that's easy to cure with modern medicine killing you and being forced to fight in your liege's army during the crusades or something. Life is painful but at least you aren't enslaved. You still have to pay tribute to your king or emperor and he can execute you for any reason if he doesn't like you anymore. Food tastes like shit and the average life expectancy is 60 years old. There's a low chance your bloodline will even survive and the king will take all of your land when there's nobody to inherit it

If you're born around the 2300s you would be a slave to some shadow cabal with an AI big brother but you can get anything you want in your life as long as you serve the eternal machine. You never die early because all diseases have been cured and the life expectancy is 200 years. You can consoooooom all of the vidya games or media you want and shitpost. You can synthesize anyone you want if you are alone. You can do anything except defy your masters

I'd be the Medieval lord, I'd alter to timeline to prevent the Japanese invasion of southeast Asia and by extension erase Jojo from ever being written

Realistically I'd be better off as a wagecuck in a future with long lifespans, few diseases, and technology to consoom but I'd probably be more happy as a Lord

It would be fun to rule Alamut for example. Make me an imam
