The absolute state of Wine on FreeBSD is making me consider packing up and moving on from the OS. FreeBSD has came so far as to where gaming is possible, but Wine drags the entire thing down with obfuscation and irritation. First it's audio, then it's Wine-Mono refusing to install, then it's Wine-Mono not being detected, then it's Wine-Proton not booting, and it just goes on and on and on and on with really specific idiotic issues with no end in sight. I absolutely adore the simplicity and comprehension of BSD, but the same cannot be said for Wine and it's done nothing but cause me hassle. It's funny, because most of my issues with Wine have never occurred on Arch, why? I wish I knew, I really wish I knew. I know it's such a specific thing to ditch an OS over but it's really bothering me and the solution hasn't gotten clearer. I've even tried patched versions of Wine to no avail, I know this works flawlessly on another machine, but it doesn't on mine.

To clarify because I know one or two of you are currently thinking "Obfuscation? Just run it in the terminal and read the logs you nimwit!" and here's the kicker, I have been, and I have been troubleshooting the barely comprehensible garble to no avail. To also clarify, Wine isn't entirely crap, when it works if at all, it works flawlessly, when it doesn't it really doesn't.

I'm tired of distro-hopping as it's been a constant self-induced thorn in my side for the past two years. I'm setting up Arch once more and sticking to it until BSD-Wine sorts itself out. School was shite as usual, yet I have no complaints. I'm not far off from being invisible to most normal-niggers all in thanks to my average appearance. I speak enough to not be considered odd to the student body, yet I speak too little to become a target and or a point of conversation to the average ape-minded fluoride-chugging disgrace of a mick. It is what it is. I'm going to setup a few things on Arch and relax for the afternoon.

Just spent the past half an hour fixing a non-existent issue with my graphics card. My Display Port randomly stopped working all together so in response I took apart my computer and attempted many worried reboots. I took out the GPU, unscrewed the casing and gave it a quick clean before re-seating everything, still no image. I tried HDMI, it worked fine, at this point I was dumb-founded assuming the worst, but moments later it all sprung back to life with no issue despite nothing zilch prior. Sure, why not.

Scorcher outside, my skin really wasn't made for the relentless heat haha. Spotted a tiny rabbit today while out on a walk, small fellow stood alone in a horses field while they were elsewhere. I just thought I'd take note of the little guy as the image is still fresh in my mind, I'm fortunate to live in a village where wild-life largely remains beyond the surface homes and shops, you just need to know the whens and wheres.

>Wake up.
>No jugs of well water left, all I have is the tap and the bottled crap in the fridge.
>I can either make a fluoride Coffee or go without.
>"No Coffee then." I say to myself, ignorant to the fact that I haven't without in years.
>Slight headache sets in, I shrug it off.
>Spend the entire School day with a fire-cracker of a headache.
>The sun is blaring, making the headache worse somehow.
>Every class drags its heels.
>Maths last period, like a spit to the face, I'm incapable of concentrating.
>Finally home.
>No water in the jugs, they weren't refilled.
>My dad won't be back to refill them until later.
>I drag myself to the local corner shop to get anything with Caffeine.
>The queue is massive and full of loud fat kids for no fucking reason.
>I grab my slop and wait like a good little goy.
>Finally drag myself home.
>The drink was older stock, it's as sharp as a butter-knife.

Sure, why not.

Long day, awoke early, ate breakfast and went for a run. I then went with family to a Football match as they adore the sport and the teams. I despise the sport and I'm usually left out of such events due to that, but today was the exception as there were plans set for dinner afterwards. I brought my dumb-phone for music and zoned out for the 90 minutes. When I wasn't looking at the birds flying above, I was looking at the crowd, the people present were disgusting obese freaks of all shapes and sizes. I swear that the regression in self-respect has been planned, while watching that match I felt as if I were watching animals being fattened before a slaughter, everyone minus a few including my family were munching on near-poisonous slop, and if they weren't they were drinking it. Anyways, afterwards we went for dinner where I got something small as I wasn't particularly hungry after the breakfast hours prior. We stopped by a shop on the way home and I and my dad sat out the back talking while drinking pissy corona, whilst the chickens ran about the garden and the sun set. I don't typically drink as I feel the act is quite "niggerish" but it is what it is. I came in not long ago, had a shower and now I'm sat in my room doing zilch.
