I dont understand why there is so much drama around the splinter, the way i see it everyone just realized that it was gay for the site to be run by a random anon so we all just moved to a different domain. Maybe im just not paying attention but it seemed like there was very little resistance among the actual userbase and the only people making this into a whole big thing are the jannies and admins. TBF if i had a direct stake in this whole thing i too would be posting on kiwifarms all day talking shit about people and dick measuring but i dont so its just funny to see how big of a deal this is for some people. I also dont understand why froot would be angry and calling this site a dnb, why would he give a shit what happens to his site after it already got sold?

There has always been drama surrounding the blog and now the shroom. When you see who the people are that are doing the complaining, it makes much more sense. Most are banned users. Some are splinter jannies trying to peel off people from here. Some are discords trying to bypass The Hole to post illegal content, and they are frustrated when the barrier to entry is higher than an inch off the ground. And obviously froot has his own motive now to attack the shroom. As long as everyone in here is having fun who gives a fuck what those not invited to the party have to say?

It started off as probably the best splinter in comparison to its soyjak.st equivalent but became the de facto main website once soyjak.blog shut down.

Splintering isn’t a bad thing. There is absolutely zero issue with people being unhappy with an administration and forming their own site unless pedophilia or illegal content is involved.
