Serious The Eucharist

It's a confusing topic for me and one of many reasons that make me reject Catholicism wholesale. Jesus Himself manifesting in a cup of wine and a wafer doesn't sit right with me, but then there are also alleged miracles spawned from those same idols. Have any of you got a perspective on it?
