I think the reason autists overshare information about themselves is because they don’t feel like they fit in outside of niche spaces like this. That makes them want to make friends with the people there and the low iq ones do that by sharing their identity.

there are two types of autists. one is that. and the other is well. well fit in and in hiding. but i believe it is lack of understanding what is going on and reading the room.
