first day of contract w*rk was alright..

i was woken up early for w*rk. i had to fight my sleep just so that i could stay awake. i drove over there and was stopped by security. i had to wait an hour so that my entry card could get laminated. once that was over, i went to the site and my co-w*rkers showed me around the place. the weather wasn't too bad atp, but it'll get worse. my co-workers introduced themselves to me and i with them. we had to go to orientation to get briefed on the rules and safety regulations for the j*bsite anyway, i then had to sign some SSAs and a permit in order to get things done at all. no special requirements for PPEs were necessary. i then went to cut up some metal sheets and throw away the scrap into a designated bin. i took a quick restroom break and then i ate my breakfast (ham sandwich). once that was over, we went back to the place where we cut metal. we were practically done with that part, so the co-w*rkers and i were just chatting until it was lunch(i had chicken tacos). once that was done, i then had to get the metal to the scaffolding area. i didn't do much because i have yet to have training for scaffolding w*rk. i had to go back and forth to get metal to the scaffolding area. by this time, the weather was scorching hot. i also grabbed some insurance sheets from the responsible person. once our time was up for the day, i forgot to bring those papers, and i had to rush in order to get those papers. i then went home after signing out.
